Meet the Team

Imani Williams
President
Colorado-born and raised, Imani began volunteering with Bella Boutique in 2020, later joining the board and becoming president in 2024. She is passionate about removing barriers to formalwear for low-income teens and loves supporting the community alongside the Bella team.
Beyond Bella Boutique, she works for a reproductive-rights organization, is a birth and postpartum doula, and volunteers as a CASA. She enjoys concerts, cheering for the Broncos and Nuggets, and spending time with her rescue dogs, Cooper and Remy.

Katie McDermott
VP, Finance
Originally from the Midwest, Katie has called the Denver area home for over 14 years. She works as an Environmental, Health & Safety manager in telecommunications. Katie discovered Bella Boutique while looking for a meaningful place to donate formal dresses, later volunteering during Homecoming and becoming eager to support the organization however she could.
When she's not working or helping at Bella Boutique, Katie enjoys hiking and spending time with her sweet pup, Harley Jane.

Tracy Holick
VP, Fundraising
Tracy began volunteering with Bella Boutique in 2024 and was immediately drawn to its mission of empowering young women by fostering confidence and self-worth—especially meaningful as a mother of two daughters. She has led fundraising efforts for various Denver-area organizations and works in the telecommunications and tech industry as a strategic negotiator.
Tracy is a devoted Colorado Avalanche fan and a proud Disney enthusiast.

Shannon McAvoy
VP, Grants
A proud Colorado native, Shannon is passionate about empowering others. She works as a chemical engineer in the oil and gas industry and spends her free time volunteering with the Society of Women Engineers, running, and exploring the outdoors with her dogs.
Shannon was introduced to Bella Boutique by Katie McDermott and began volunteering during the 2024 prom season. She instantly connected with the mission and is excited to support the organization’s impact as part of the Bella leadership team.

Our Story
Bella Boutique is Denver's only official 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing area teens with free gowns, shoes, accessories and more for their high school dances in a boutique space designed to replicate a commercial retail formalwear shop so they are able to shop in a beautiful space, like their peers.
Our organization not only provides hundreds of evening gowns each year to teens from Denver and beyond, but is also Denver’s only non-profit that provides each teen with a personal shopping experience to ensure that picking the dress of her dreams is a day they will never forget.
We work to foster confidence and inspire positive self-worth through clothing and dressing yourself. We encourage independent thinking and decision making skills. This experience is about so much more than a dress.
