Bella Boutique is 100% volunteer run. Our volunteer Board and Committees are comprised of smart, talented people with a passion for giving these students the same experiences they had. Meet them, below.
Karen is a local attorney, who loves fashion and design and has a passion for helping low income women and children. She believes all girls should have the exceptional childhood experience of getting dressed up, feeling pretty, and going to a high school dance. That is why Karen is fully committed to helping Bella Boutique serve Greater Denver's low income teenage population by providing not only free dresses, shoes and jewelry, but a one-of-a-kind confidence-boosting boutique experience.
Sally came to Bella Boutique through her volunteering with the Junior League of Denver and very quickly decided to apply her professional skills to help grow the organization. Sally is an East Coast transplant working as a project manager in the marketing and technology space. She believes in improving communities through service and is incredibly passionate about helping families overcome financial struggles to allow their kids to simply be kids and celebrate these important school milestones.
VP, Program/Boutique Management
Starr is a true Southern belle with a creative flair. Starr is the force that keeps our boutique beautiful, bright and happy -- on top of all the other ways she helps the students and Bella team. She learned about Bella Boutique through her affiliation with the Junior League of Denver and once Starr started working with Tia and the students, she was hooked. Starr came to Denver by way of Virginia and Louisiana and is mom to the wonderful Cassidy, another familiar face and volunteer in the shop.
Amy is a Colorado Native and an avid volunteer with several non profit organizations in the Denver area. She currently serves as the Philanthropy Advisor for the Nu Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at CU- Boulder, and is actively involved in the Junior League of Denver. She believes gestures of kindness can be felt and remembered for a lifetime. She also believes in sparkle and chivalry, all that is Prom & Homecoming.
VP, Marketing & Public Relations
Beth is a consultant in the digital advertising industry with a passion for helping others and improving her community. In addition to working with Bella Boutique, Beth is an active member of the Junior League of Denver and has volunteered with the Denver Young Professionals Alzheimer’s Association. She was drawn to Bella Boutique because of the ability to work with the future of Denver – the females! Being from a small town in Texas, Beth herself went to 5 proms, so she brings an almost expert opinion on how to find the right look for every girl who comes in our doors.
Jennifer is an Accountant who is passionate about helping kids of all backgrounds. She helps Bella manage our accounts and fundraising efforts. She's a dog mom of two and best friend to all.
VP, Fundraising - Grantwriting
Ashley is the newest member of the Bella Leadership team and we are so excited to have her expertise contribute to the mission!
Katie is originally from the Midwest and has been in the Denver Metro area for 10 years. She is an Environmental, Health, and Safety Advisor for a local oil and gas company. Katie found Bella Boutique when she was looking for a place to donate formal dresses that would be put to good use. After volunteering during a homecoming season, she was enthusiastic about helping Bella Boutique any way possible. When she is not at work or at Bella, she spends her free time hanging out with her sweet puppy, Harley Jane, and blogging about Denver’s Food Scene.
Kayla is a Denver transplant who spent the majority of her life on the South Texas border, and as a result loves Tex-Mex and saw Selena Quintanilla Perez in concert when she was 11 years old. She began volunteering with Bella Boutique through the Junior League of Denver, and kept giving her time and energy to Bella Boutique because she thinks it’s an awesome organization and has a lot of fun being a personal shopper. When not working to promote Bella Boutique’s mission, she serves in leadership roles for various non-profit and professional organizations in Colorado and gets to litigate employment matters throughout the United States (with a specific emphasis on trade secret theft and executive transitions). An interesting fact about Kayla is that she was the chair of both her high school’s prom and college’s homecoming committees.
Naomi Amaha Gollnick serves as a Community Advocacy Director for the American Heart Association. In her role, she advocates public health policies at the municipal level across Colorado. Before joining the AHA, Naomi served as a Communications Analyst for the URS Corporation in Washington D.C. A Northern California native, Naomi holds a degree from the University of California, Davis. Naomi currently serves as Incoming Vice President of the Junior League of Denver’s Public Policy Council. She also serves as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and volunteers for Bella Boutique and the Denver Metro Leadership Foundation. When Naomi is not working or serving in the Denver Metro community, she enjoys traveling, working out, exploring Colorado, and spending time with her husband Cory and their three dachshunds: Hank, Freckles and Mr. Chocolate.
Kelly, a Notre Dame alumnae, is now the Director of Merchandising & Marketing for the National 4H Council. A lifelong volunteer, Kelly devotes her time to Minds Matter and other area non-profits in addition to Bella Boutique.
