ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Bella Boutique does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin/ancestry, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation or military status – if you would like to shop at Bella and you qualify for our services you are welcome.  We strive to provide some more gender-neutral clothing with each season. Bella, however, cannot and does not guarantee that it will have the exact dress or other clothing item that you want.

If you have a disability and need special accommodations please contact Bella via e-mail prior to your appointment. For your convenience, you are able to note this when you schedule your appointment. We are happy to discuss the accommodations you are requesting and work with you to determine if we can reasonably meet them.  If you have a disability and require accommodations but do not notify Bella in advance of your appointment, we cannot guarantee the ability to reasonably accommodate you without advance notice.

You must bring your current student ID with you at the time of your appointment.  If you are homeschooled and do not have a traditional student ID you must bring proof that you are currently enrolled in a high school level homeschooling program.

If you are unsure if you qualify or have any questions please reach out via e-mail.  We’re happy to help!

  • If possible, bring or wear a strapless bra or the undergarments you may wear to the dance so we can work on getting a proper fit.

  • You will be paired with a personal shopper to help you select your dress or other clothing item.

  • There is a lounge with limited seating area for your family and friends.  Anyone you bring with you that does not have an appointment will be asked to sit or stand in this waiting area. If you would like, you will be able to go out twirl, spin and show off the dresses or other clothing items so you get their input.

  • To respect the privacy and needs of our other guests, your family and friends will not be allowed to walk throughout the boutique to shop with you.

  • Bella Boutique is run by volunteers and does not have any full-time staff. There are days when we run behind schedule, and we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.  You may have to wait past your appointment time to be seen.  Our volunteers sincerely appreciate your patience and courteousness if you have to wait.
